The medium ball point displaces the fabric threads and penetrates the interthreads. This allows the needle to penetrate thick, tough fabrics more easily, without damaging the material. It also requires less penetration force, resulting in fewer needle breaks.

The special blade design ensures high needle stability, thus reducing breakage and skipped stitches.

This facilitates the handling of even thick layers of fabric.
