Bobbin Cover for Pfaff / Singer (Ref. 416679701)

The bobbin cover is the acrylic cover plate that encloses the bobbin case and the horizontal rotary hook. Its transparency allows the sewer to quickly see how much thread is left inside the machine, which is fundamental in preventing a project from stopping halfway through due to lack of lower thread.

In addition to protecting the entire mechanism area from dust and fabric scraps, this cover creates continuous leveling with the needle plate, ensuring that delicate fabrics slide through without snagging. As it is a snap-on part, subject to constant handling and drops, it is one of the parts most easily lost or scratched, requiring timely replacement to maintain uniform sewing advancement.
