The Ruffler is a specialized attachment for quickly and uniformly creating small pleats and gathers in light to medium-weight fabrics. As its name suggests, its mechanism automates the gathering of fabric, saving a lot of time when you want to make frills, decorative pleats, or attach gathered fabric to a flat base in one pass.

This accessory stands out for having a regulation that controls the depth and frequency of the pleats, allowing the final effect to be adjusted to the project. Besides gathering, it can also gather and sew at the same time, which makes it very useful for children's clothes, blouses, and cushions. To use it, the machine must be set to a straight stitch, and the mechanism is mounted on the presser foot bar with a long screw and a fork that attaches to the needle bar.
