Gathering Foot with Guide for Decorative Stitches (9mm) Pfaff (Ref. 820776096)

The Pfaff pintuck foot with guide is designed to create perfectly parallel pintucks with regular spacing of 5/6 mm or 11 mm, also allowing decorative stitches up to 6 mm or 9 mm wide to be sewn between the pintucks, depending on the selected stitch. It is an ideal accessory for decorative sewing, delicate finishes, and more elaborate and professional-looking embossed effects.

The grooves on the sole glide over the already sewn pintucks, helping to maintain correct alignment and center the decorative stitch in the space between them. For a more pronounced effect, this foot can be used in conjunction with the Pfaff pintuck blade, which attaches to the needle plate and raises the fabric during sewing to create higher and more visible pintucks.

On Pfaff machines with the IDT system, this foot must be used with the IDT deactivated, so that the fabric slides correctly through the lower grooves of the foot during pintuck formation.
