Burda Tracing Paper for Patterns (Ref. C1214)

Semi-transparent tissue paper is an essential modelling accessory for dressmakers and pattern makers who work with pattern magazines (such as Burda Style, Patrones, etc.). It stands out for being extremely thin, lightweight and highly transparent, allowing you to perfectly see the outlines, notches and overlapping lines of different sizes on the original pattern sheet.

Its great advantage is that it allows you to trace the exact pattern using a pencil or soft pen, preserving the magazine insert intact (which does not need to be cut). Once traced and cut, this paper is pliable enough to be pinned directly onto the fabric for cutting. Due to its lightness, it can also be used as a tear-away stabiliser when sewing very fine fabrics, synthetic leathers or knits that tend to slip in the machine.
