The Yarn Couching Foot Set was designed to add rich relief and texture to your projects, allowing you to attach thick yarn or cord to the surface of the fabric. The set consists of two different parts or feet, thus adapting to a wide variety of yarn thicknesses. The great advantage of this kit is its enormous versatility: the feet can be used for both free-motion sewing — where you guide the fabric manually to create your own patterns — and for embroidering directly on compatible embroidery machines, where the machine fills in automatically.

This accessory is fantastic for enriching quilts, cushions, or garments with textured lines, creating three-dimensional outlines or chenille-style fillings that stand out. As this foot replaces the machine's normal foot for use in a free-motion or embroidery setup, the issue of dual feed does not apply directly in the same way as with standard feet, and the machine should be prepared according to the detailed instructions that come with the kit. It is specifically compatible with machines from groups J and L (with a 9 mm stitch width and the IDT base system).
