Upper Looper for Overlock / Coverlock PFAFF (Ref. 29-924993-81/717)

The upper looper is one of the most important mechanical parts in forming an overlock and coverlock stitch. Working in sync with the needle and the lower looper, this arm guides the thread over the fabric edge to create the characteristic interlocked finish of the seam.
When the needle hits the tip of the looper, or when the part becomes scratched, bent, or broken, thread breakages, skipped stitches, and seam formation failures begin to occur.
