Needle Plate for Industrial Singer (Ref. S20262)

The needle plate is the metal component on which the fabric rests while the machine forms the stitch. This straight stitch (lockstitch) needle plate is distinguished by its regular/medium needle hole, offering the ideal balance for sewing medium-thickness fabrics and allowing the use of slightly thicker needles without risk of collision. By keeping the support area around the hole optimized, it prevents the fabric from being pushed into the machine during high-speed sewing.

With wear and occasional needle impact, the hole can develop burrs that fray the thread and wrinkle the material. Replacing a worn plate restores the precision and smooth feeding essential to an industrial machine.
