Needle Plate for PFAFF Overlock (Ref. 29‑924993‑70/871)

This needle plate is the metal plate where the fabric rests while the needles pierce and the loopers form the overlock stitch. It is through the hole and slots that the thread is guided, ensuring that cutting and finishing always happen in the same position and width.
When the needle hits the plate (bent needle, incorrect assembly, or fabric too thick), marks and burrs are created that snag the thread, cause skipped stitches, and can pull delicate fabrics into the machine. Replacing the plate is the reliable solution to restore a perfect finish.

This plate is exclusive to Pfaff Hobbylock 784, 787 and 788.
Before buying:

• Confirm that your machine model is exactly Pfaff 784, 787 or 788.

• Compare the shape of the plate's holes and cutouts in the photo with your machine's original plate.
  After assembly, turn the handwheel several turns by hand to ensure that the needles enter and exit the hole without touching metal and that the feed dogs do not rub against the plate.
