Needle Plate for PFAFF Overlock (Ref. 29-924993-70/298)

This needle plate is the metal plate where the fabric rests while the needles pierce and the loopers form the overlock stitch. It is through the hole and slots that the thread is guided, ensuring that cutting and finishing always happen in the same position and width.
When the needle hits the plate (bent needle, incorrect assembly, or fabric too thick), marks and burrs are created that snag the thread, cause skipped stitches, and can pull delicate fabrics into the machine. Replacing the plate is the reliable solution to restore a perfect finish.

This plate is exclusive to Pfaff Hobbylock 794 and 796.
Before buying:

• Confirm that your machine model is exactly Pfaff 794 or 796.

• Compare the shape of the holes and cutouts of the plate in the photo with your machine's original plate.
  Once assembled, turn the handwheel several times to ensure that the needles enter and exit through the hole without touching metal and that the feed dogs do not scrape the plate.
