The vertical metal bobbin case is the part where the bobbin is inserted in machines with a classic front rotary hook system. When this metal holder wears out, is dented by drops, or has spring damage caused by broken needles, the thread tension loses calibration, resulting in loops under the fabric, broken threads, and irregular stitches.

This original replacement part restores millimeter-precise tension control and perfect thread gliding to your machine. It is compatible with the vast majority of front-loading PFAFF machines (with stitch widths of 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 9mm).
