Creative Pfaff Bobbin Case (Ref. 820602096)

The Creative Bobbin Case, easily identifiable by its gold latch, is a special bobbin case designed for "bobbin work" or inverted decorative stitching. Its main function is to allow the use of thick threads, cords, narrow ribbons, or textured yarns that are too thick to pass through the machine's needle.

With this case, the decorative thread is wound onto the lower bobbin, and stitching is done on the wrong side of the fabric, resulting in voluminous, raised embroidery on the right side of the piece. It features an adapted tension screw that allows for the necessary pressure release so that thicker threads run smoothly. In the case of extra-thick yarns, the case even has a bypass slot so that the thread can bypass the tension system entirely.
