Its intelligent design was specially conceived for garment projects or patchwork pieces, where the precision of the seam allowance dictates the success of the final fit.
This foot stands out by combining a fully transparent acrylic base — which offers excellent visibility over the sewing area and the needle — with a practical metal side guide. This small blade works as a perfect stopper, positioned at the exact distance of 5/8 of an inch (approx. 1.5 cm) from the central needle position, which is the most widely used seam allowance worldwide in garment making. The base also has four additional visual markings that allow sewing with different seam allowance distances, simply by aligning the fabric edge with these guide lines to ensure professional-level results.
