The Grand Piping Foot (or Large Piping Foot) was specifically developed to work with thick cords and piping, perfect for interior decoration projects such as cushions, upholstery, bags, or structured accessories. The base of this presser foot features an extra-wide and deep groove that accommodates thick cords, allowing you to cover your own cord with fabric (to create custom piping) or apply pre-made piping directly to the seams of your projects.

The great advantage of this accessory is its flexibility: it can be attached to both the right and left of the needle. This allows you to position the needle exactly where you need it, sewing close to the cord's edge for a professional and snug finish. Additionally, the presser foot was designed with a rear cutout that allows it to work in conjunction with Pfaff's IDT system (Integrated Dual Transport).
