The Sewing Star Foot was specifically developed to facilitate the execution of wide decorative stitches and fill stitches (such as satin stitch) with maximum precision. Its unique design provides additional support to the fabric around the needle — which is essential to prevent the fabric from puckering or being pulled into the needle plate (tunnelling) — while keeping the front open for excellent visibility of the sewing area.
This accessory is the perfect choice for creating consistent decorative borders, customising hems, and adding elaborate details to your projects. In addition to its improved stability, this model was designed to fit and work in perfect synchronisation with Pfaff's IDT system (integrated dual feed). The active use of the IDT ensures that fabrics and stabilisers advance at the same rate, guaranteeing uniform decorative stitches from start to finish. It is compatible with machine groups D, E, F, G, J, K, and L.
