Pfaff Two-Level Compensating Foot for IDT (Ref. 820676096)
The Bi-Level Topstitch Foot is an accessory designed to perfectly guide topstitching and edge stitching on bulky materials or those with differences in thickness. The sole of this presser foot has a stepped design, allowing one part of the foot to slide over the higher layer of fabric and the other to rest on the lower layer, compensating for height and keeping the needle perfectly aligned without the foot tipping to the side.
This presser foot is ideal for achieving professional finishes on thick hems, attaching waistbands to trousers, hemming curtains, or sewing bulky appliques, where uneven fabric often makes it difficult for the machine to advance smoothly. As it was designed for use with the Pfaff IDT system (integrated dual feed), it ensures that even the most difficult and heavy layers are fed evenly during topstitching.
