Description Plus

Ideal for creating voluminous details, this presser foot is the perfect tool to quickly gather a layer of light to medium-weight fabrics (such as silk, chiffon, light cotton, and tulle). It's excellent for preparing meters of continuous gathers for making dresses, ruffled skirts, children's clothing, curtains, and home decorations.
Its special design, with a recess at the back of the sole, slightly holds the fabric, allowing it to accumulate naturally as the machine sews. The intensity and volume of the gathers can be easily controlled by adjusting the thread tension and increasing the selected stitch length on the machine.
Requires the use of a snap-on presser foot holder (low shank) compatible with your domestic machine (e.g., ref. 416128201)
