The 4mm Rolled Hem Foot is an accessory designed to create narrow, neat, and durable hems on light to medium-weight fabrics, without the need to pre-fold or iron the edges before sewing. Its spiral front automatically rolls the edge of the fabric, forming a uniform hem that hides the cut edge inside the finish.
It is especially useful for garments, scarves, ruffles, and decorative items where a more visible finish than a 2mm one is desired, but still thin and professional. During use, the fabric is guided into the foot's scroll as the machine advances, keeping the hem stable and neat along the entire seam.
In terms of fitting, it is a presser foot compatible with the IDT system, helping to feed the fabric evenly while the hem is formed.
