The Sensormatic Buttonhole Foot (model 5A) is an advanced accessory designed to sew automatic buttonholes with professional precision. Its main technological advantage is that it sews both sides of the buttonhole (the side cords) in exactly the same direction, ensuring that the stitch density, tension, and appearance are perfectly identical on both edges.

Using this foot is electronic and takes place in a single step. Instead of physically attaching the button to the foot to measure it, you enter the button size on the machine's screen (using the button ruler) and align the foot's red arrow with the mark you made on the fabric.
