Pfaff Compensating Foot Right for IDT (Ref. 821007096)
The Right Edge Bi-level Foot is an accessory designed to guide fabric perfectly along raised seams or folded edges. The underside of this presser foot has an uneven surface where the right side is higher, allowing this half to slide over the base fabric while the left half rests on the top layer, thus compensating for the difference in thickness and keeping the needle perfectly aligned at all times.
This presser foot is ideal for achieving professional-quality finishes and topstitching close to the right edge on pockets, collars, trim strips, and belts. Since it was designed to be used in conjunction with the Pfaff IDT system (the integrated dual feed mechanism), it ensures that the different layers of fabric are pulled continuously and evenly, preventing the machine from snagging or slipping when changes in volume occur.
