This automatic buttonhole presser foot (ref. 68003698) was designed to simplify the sewing process on popular mechanical 1-step series, namely Singer's famous Heavy Duty line and the Husqvarna Viking E20 model. Operation is extremely intuitive: simply place the desired button in the presser foot's expandable rear rail and the machine will mechanically read its size, sewing a buttonhole with the exact dimensions in a single uninterrupted cycle. It guarantees fast, uniform, and professionally finished results.

The adjustable rear rail locks the button in place, serving as a size guide for the machine to execute the buttonhole in a single continuous step.
