Double Cording / Double Piping Foot for Pfaff (Ref. 820531096)
The Twin Welting Foot or Double Welting Foot is specifically designed to cover and apply two thick cords simultaneously, creating highly structured and voluminous decorative finishes. The base of this presser foot has two deep, parallel grooves that accommodate the cords side by side, guiding them precisely and continuously under the needle while the machine firmly closes the fabric around them.
This accessory is widely used in home décor projects, being the perfect choice for creating custom piping on cushions, chair upholstery, sofa covers, and bag contours. It works by cutting a bias fabric strip in which the cords are wrapped, and the presser foot ensures that the seam is caught in the centre or at the edges with a very professional finish. As it is a solid and robust base presser foot designed to handle high volumes, its use requires that the IDT dual feed system be disengaged on machines that have it. It is compatible with Pfaff machine groups B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, and L (with the exception of Smarter 140s, 160s, and 260c machines).
