Its base features a circular front guide and a deep lower groove (accommodating diameters up to 6mm), allowing thick wool yarns, cords, authentic soutache, or narrow satin ribbons to glide perfectly aligned and raised under the needle as you secure them.

The magic of this presser foot happens when you combine it with narrow zigzag stitches or your machine's luxurious decorative stitches: the thread passes over the cord, attaching it to the base and creating a visual effect that resembles a hand-embroidered appliqué.
